Reviews and Ratings
The condo was a huge disappointment for our family celebration. While we had high expectations based on the website, the cleanliness and maintenance of the place were far from luxurious. We struggled with various issues, from the lack of proper kitchen equipment to filthy carpets. The only upside was that the outdoor area had potential, but overall, our experience was frustrating and not worth the cost.
My stay was quite disappointing. The hotel has a stunning view of the ocean, but the rooms were dirty and in disrepair, which overshadowed the nice location. The service left much to be desired, with unhelpful management and cleanliness issues. Overall, if you're looking for a pleasant stay in San Clemente, I would recommend exploring other options.
While the hotel boasts a fantastic beach location and charming character, the overall experience was marred by poor management and maintenance issues. I faced challenges with late check-out promises and dirty facilities, which overshadowed the pleasant views from the room. The price seemed steep considering the problems we encountered during our stay.
My stay at Casa Tropicana had its ups and downs. The location couldn't be better, right across from the beach and near plenty of restaurants. While I found some charm in the cozy decorations, the service left much to be desired, especially the management's attitude towards our booking issues. Overall, it was a mixed experience, leaning more towards the pleasant side, but there are definitely areas for improvement.
I was really looking forward to staying here for our 40th wedding anniversary, especially since we splurged on an oceanfront room for $300 a night. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing. While the location is fantastic, with a beautiful view, the room was dated and in desperate need of renovations. Service was also lacking, with no complimentary water and a frustrating check-in process. Overall, if you’re after a modern, well-kept place, this might not be the best choice.
